October 8th to October 10th, 2025

Day 1

Landed around 5pm from Qatar, checked into the Four Seasons, took the ferry boat over to the mall across the harbor, Hailey bought a swimsuit from a local store (the next day we planned to just relax at the hotel), then we took the ferry back after logging a few miles at the indoor mall. The ferry ride was 5 minutes each way.

After getting back to the hotel, we went to the Wolfgang Puck Lounge to have some snacks (and water!) before dinner. They had a popcorn, to much to Max’s delight :) We were so hungry and had jetlag, but the dinner service upstairs at Cut didn’t start until 7pm. We sat at 7pm at Cut at the Four Seasons hotel. Max enjoyed a steak, Hailey got a lobster pasta (the steak was better, unsurprisingly), we had a brownie type of dessert, then barely made it back to the hotel room before our eyes closed for good for the evening.

Day 2

We woke up, went to our respective gyms (some hotels in muslim countries have optional separate gyms for females), got a little spa/steam/sauna in - then went to the pool to have lunch and take a dip. Our servers were from Uganda and Cameroon. It was so hot, but we did manage to stay out there a few hours, cooling off in the pool, ate fried halloumi cheese sticks, hummus, and a chicken wrap. In the afternoon Hailey had a Hammam treatment from an Indonesian lady, and Max had a 4 hands massage.

For dinner that evening we ate at The Four Seasons again at Wolfgang Puck’s asian restaurant. Some of their dishes reminded us of things you would find at Nobu. We had the spicy tuna roll, chicken dumplings, spicy tuna & crispy rice - no cocktails and no dessert. Sleep.

Day 3

We slept in and left around 10am to catch our 1pm flight to Lahore, Pakistan. We wanted to have some Pakistani money when we landed, so Hailey pulled out some old Thai currency that she had, which was equivalent to about 100 USD. First the exchange teller converted the currency to Bahrainian currency, and then from there converted to Pakistani currency. By the time it was all done - we ended up with about $40 worth of Pakistani currency.
