Five months before our wedding, we decided to put all our belongings into storage and travel. We took off in nothing but carry-ons for London and have since knocked off over 130 countries together.
Now, traveling full-time three years later, our travel aspirations have grown. We’ve found ourselves on a journey to 185 countries, visiting all 7 continents, drinking at all of the worlds top 100 bars, seeing the wonders of the world, and chasing all the Michelin stars in our path.
RECENT VISITS

We spent 3 nights in Tuvalu and mostly spent our time walking around both sides of the island, and undoubtedly walking to the airstrip every night to see how the locals enjoy their community time together. It was there that we were met with many smiles, laughs, waves and nods. Tuvaluans are very friendly people.

We had a short but great stay in Samoa. It reminded us of Hawaii. We relaxed at the hotel, walked around the resort and the nearby neighborhoods, walked to an incredible italian dinner spot, watched locals prepare to play rugby, play rugby, then walk home from playing rugby. We even got trained by a Samoan rugby pro in the hotel gym.

We stayed 2 nights in the Solomon Islands on the main island in the city of Honiara. The Solomon Islands takes government assistance from a number of countries, and it’s easy to tell that they are a developing country. There were a lot of WW2 ship wrecks that we could have dove to, but there were not many dive shops still in business on the island.

Midway through our tour of the South Pacific Island countries, we stopped at the oasis of Turtle Island in Fiji. The whole island belongs to 1 owner and the trip was magical from start to finish. The seaplane ride out over the Yasawa Islands was a sight to see and we had incredible weather and peace for almost a week!

Putting together the itinerary to visit all the South Pacific Oceanic countries was no simple task, and we’ve put together this page to help those who also have the desire to see these remote and least visited islands in the world.
We spent 40 days aboard the Silver Wind cruise ship starting our adventure in Cape Town and making it all the way up to Lisbon. This route is only done once per year and the people aboard are big travelers who want to dig deeper into Africa.
200 airports later, 450k flight miles, 28 days spent in the air on a plane, and 106 different airlines around the world, reaching all 7 world wonders together - all within 3 years.

Our road trip through the Balkans had its ups and downs and we’re so grateful we had the chance to see all that this part of the world has to offer. We loved the big cities in the countries, but really fell in love with the countryside, hidden caves, small canyons, boutique lakes and smaller river-encircled towns in between.
As of March 2023, we’ve logged 24000 miles. That’s equivalent to 1 trip around the world. We’re only 3 months in!
When we first started traveling, we had only been to about 13 countries and only 2 continents. By now, we have been to all 7 continents and plan to revisit many of the countries, but on the next round get to the “deeper cuts”. We want to go where the city folks go to escape the city.

In total we saw 16 whales in 1 day, and we were told that was a VERY good day. We weren’t prepared for how physically strenuous it is to swim up to the whales as well as keep up with them, but every part of the experience was worth it. I only wish we had more days in Tonga! What an incredible and sacred feeling place.
